Frequently asked questions
How can I sign up for a course?
You can sign up by booking a trial lesson through my Google Calendar or by joining the waiting list. After the trial session, you’ll receive a personalized recommendation and can choose the course or lesson format that fits you best.
Are there any extra fees?
No. There are no hidden or additional fees on my side. You only pay for the lessons or course you choose—no mandatory materials or extra costs. Please note that payment providers such as PayPal and Payoneer may charge additional transaction fees, which are outside of my control.
Is there a minimum number of attendees?
Group courses require a small minimum number of participants to ensure interaction and quality. If the minimum is not reached, you will be offered an alternative.
Can I book classes in Zürich?
No. All classes are conducted online.
Which materials will we be using?
You will not need to buy any specific textbook. Instead, I use a variety of carefully selected, high-quality materials that are provided to you, including materials I have personally created based on scientific principles of language learning.
Are classes on weekends possible?
Yes, weekend classes may be available depending on scheduling. You can check current availability directly when booking your trial lesson.
What happens if I miss a class?
It depends on the lesson format. For group lessons, missed classes cannot be refunded; however, you will receive the materials so you can catch up. For individual lessons, you will not be charged if you notify me before the class starts.
Do I need prior knowledge?
No. You can start without any prior knowledge of Swiss German. You don’t even need any knowledge of High German. However, if you already speak High German, it can be an advantage and help you progress even faster.
Are the lessons in English?
All group lessons are in English. Individual lessons can also be held in Swiss German, High German and BKMS.
